A 16-year-old girl has been arrested for the killing of a New York City taxi driver in Sovereigns last month, police said.
The unidentified high school student has been charged with stealing from the government, the latest conundrum to entangle the city. The NYPD announced the August 25 acquisition on Friday night.

Police said Kutin Gyimah, 52, a married father of four young children, was injured on Aug. 13 as he chased travelers who tried to chase him.
Gyimah dropped five people on the ocean side of the Rockaways and on Arverne Avenue around 6:30 a.m. when the senseless atrocity occurred.
Police said he continued to gather to crash into a taxi like a traveler, sending him onto the road, where he suffered a fracture near the Alvern Bush Stadium.
The final shenanigans flew to the Seaside Channel driver, who traveled down the block with security footage obtained by the Post from a nearby warehouse.
Two boys and a high school girl who made police videos appeared in the dangerous attack, police said.
Austin Amos and Nickolas Doorman, both 20, surrendered to police in the 101st District just days after the high-profile incident allegedly avoided Taxi lane and defeat Gyimah fatally.
