A new private club opens 100 stories on Billionaires Row
Talk about maintaining 100.
Another private club opens in New York – on the 100th floor of a luxury skyscraper.
Central Park Tower, along so-called Row Billionaire’s, has record-breaking penthouses for sale $250 million – On Thursday, they opened the doors to the 100th floor site from a source who told us they found Uber CEOs Dara Khosrowshahi, Dennis Basso and Naeem Khan hit by Extell’s Gary Barnett .
Celebrity event planner Colin Cowie – who has hosted events for Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian – serves as “lifestyle expert” and event planner in a new exclusive space, serving dishes to top chefs: Alfred Portale, Laurent Tourondel and Gabriel Kreuther.
“Our menu changes every three months, and our recipes come directly from these extraordinary chefs,” Cowie explained, welcoming guests to dishes such as “Tuna and Caviar in Pie Eggs,” duck foie gras and cod.
The full orchestra and harpists had a great time as the performers sang the “Hamilton” melody.
Inside the space, known as the Central Park Club, houses a restaurant, ballroom, wine bar and cigar lounge. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool.
The building’s occupants are automatically members – Jane Sarkin and Matt Julian of Boldface Partners have invited a supposedly selected group of business, media, finance, fashion and Hollywood titans to join.
The space began accepting dinner reservations on October 3 and opened on October 18.
It’s just the latest in a string of new private clubs opening in the city – including celebrity favorite The Ned, ultra-exclusive Aman, Mayor Eric Adam’s Zero Bond hangout, trendy Chapel Bar and glamorous Casa Cipriani.
