A$AP Rocky wasn’t happy with his Rolling Loud New York performance. The Harlem New York rapper issued a statement of apology after his RL suit was discontinued. A$AP Rocky delivered an energetic 30-minute performance at the 2022 Rolling Loud New York Music Festival at Citi Field in Queens, NY on September 24, but apparently, his performance was cut a lot to the chagrin of A$AP Rocky endlessly. The Test rapper released a statement saying “sorry” to fans for the show’s brevity.

I’m so hurt right now! The evening should be the turning point of my live performance from old to new! A$AP Rocky wrote in a statement. I will take full responsibility for the circumstances that make this show what it is and what it is not. I also want to admit that despite the best show I have for my fans, over the course of a few months…, he moved on. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete my vision and I am hurt by it, I need to apologize to my fans and those who continue to support me, and thank you all for being by my side in any situation!

A$AP Rocky apologizes after New York noise cut short
The Harlem rapper took full responsibility for the set that stopped after months of preparation. Rolling Loud New York was a terrific event this year, like Kanye West’s surprise appearance on the Playboi Carti set, Lil Tjay’s first performance since being shot, and the NYPD removing the New York Fuck rapper from the schedule. Nonetheless, one of the most anticipated races of the weekend is the Main Event and New York’s local A$AP Rocky. His Saturday show, despite great support and assistance from guests Glorilla and French Montana, stopped after only 30 minutes. The unexpected ending was due to Rocky’s late arrival and the strict time constraints imposed by police authorities, and damn questions, the rapper announced on Twitter that he was “sorry” about the incident.
Although he only performed nine tracks and looked unusually dejected in the show footage, he actually delivered a frantic scene with fiery features and, surprisingly, crowd diving. In the comments, many fans were thoughtful about Flacco’s situation and offered their help. Others criticized him for being reckless, while some just wanted to know when the next album would be released. Speaking of which, A$AP Rocky said that this group will be his last before giving up on a new project. We recently received a photoshoot of Rihanna and A$AP in the studio, so ideally this set seems to be ushering in the next phase of his rollout and a major return for the 33-year-old. While it’s frustrating for his show to be cut, it’s also nice to see Rocky really think about his art and his fans a lot, and maybe keep trying to give them something he’s proud of.
Maybe next time don’t waste 10 minutes between each song and actually rap your verse on the song
