The cores are fabricated on a 5 nm process (previously 7 nm), while the I/Os containing the rest of the components use 6 nm lithography (previously 12 nm). Another fundamental change is the addition of a built-in Radeon graphics chip primarily based on the RDNA 2 structure, which was completely absent from its predecessors except for the G/PRO series. The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X is based on two CCD modules, each containing eight physical cores, and is also supported by Simultaneous Multithreading Technology (SMT).
