When you haven’t been blessed by the voice, know that Britney Spears recently launched a collaboration with Elton John called “Bring Me Closer” to replace his base tune Tiny Dancer. The entire network is excited about the collaboration, and if nothing else, it’s been great to see Ms. Spears thrive while working with other music icons and live her post-conservatory life.
No problem, great to hear Britney’s collaboration preparations again. Previous collaborations have given her some pretty good songs. Here, we take another look back at some of their favorite collaborations from before “Bring Me Closer.”
‘Until the End of the World’ was a huge success for Spears, Kesha and Nicki Minaj
As Billboard noted, “Until the End of the World” stayed on the 2011 chart for 24 weeks. This tune appears everywhere because it’s absolutely pop. With the intensity of Three Girls, the catchy tune itself, and the ubiquity of the tune’s appearance the following summer, it went on to become one of Spears’ most lucrative songs of all time. It helped the then rising Nicki Minaj and Kesha achieve greater success.
More than a decade later, this tune is still the norm on dance golf equipment all over the world…and will certainly remain so until the world actually ends.
Spears starred in a remix of Rihanna’s “S&M.”
Twelve months in 2011 meant a lot to Britney. Following her success on “Until the End of the World,” she also appeared in Rihanna’s remix. Britney’s model is by no means as famous as Rihanna. However, followers were still shocked when Rihanna dropped the bombshell Britney Spears remix of “S&M” she worked with.

While we wish the two pop stars worked together on a music video for it, the remix still offers followers a sense of what might have happened if Spears and Rihanna had ever consciously worked together. What’s more, the duo also showed off their models’ impressive (and iconic) efficiency at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards…including chains and whips (plus a stuffy pillow fight)!
Will.i.am and Spears hit big with ‘Scream and Shout’
Another big hit for Spears is her collaboration with Will.i.am’s monitor “Scream and Shout.” The monitor features Spears singing to the membership while enjoying the impression of a… British accent? Accent considerations aside, people love this tune. It stayed on the Billboard charts for 24 weeks, making it one of Spears’ top 5 charts ever.
Madonna appears in Spears’ “I Go To Music.”
While not as common as some of Spears’ different collaborations, the tune and video for 2003’s “Me Towards the Music” is notable for bringing together Britney and Madonna, thus revealing why they might be the best of the two One – famous pop musicians are the heroines of all eras. Still, who can ignore the early vitality of this epic social gathering music video? In fact, Madonna and Spears’ shocking 12-month kiss at the VMAs cemented its place in people’s nostalgic memories, and it’s likely bigger than the tune.
Now that Spears is out of her conservatory and picking out music for herself again, fans are excited to see what different types of collaborations she might need. Here we are, Britney, can’t wait to hear about the follow-up collaboration!
