The Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed a lawsuit filed by the trio seeking to stop President-elect Bola Tinubu and his deputy Kashim Shettima from falsifying age and citizenship in documents submitted by Tinubu to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
In a ruling on Friday, Judge James Omotosho found the lawsuit by Praise Ilemona Isaiah, pastor Paul Isaac Audu and Anongu Moses to be frivolous and an abuse of court process.
Judge Omotosho held that the plaintiffs did not have standing to bring the suit, adding that the court could not exercise jurisdiction to hear it because it involved the presidential election.
