Delta state’s elected governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has pledged to implement the recommendations of the 88-member transitional committee he formed a few weeks ago.
After receiving the committee’s report, Oborevwori praised the committee members for completing their tasks, saying the report would greatly help his government moving forward. He also added, “All sectors are in the Transition Council.
“This report will play an important role in my government as a working document. I have told the Delta people that I will listen to them and do more for them, so again I salute all the members of the transition committee who have job well done.”
Presenting the report earlier, Professor Emmanuel Nwanze, Chairman of the Transitional Committee, revealed that members worked tirelessly to complete the task within the allotted time frame, adding that every component was thoroughly investigated.
