Since its opening, food-obsessed Londoners have flocked to the Antilles’ pan-Caribbean menu, which showcases the cacophony of West Indies flavours that run through the Caribbean islands’ commercial routes. After reducing his enamel as a celebrity government chef, Cuban Asia-Hanbury’s culinary credentials are well used in dishes like mackerel escovitch and julienned pickled vegetables, as well as watermelon and traditional beetroot salads.
Signature entrees include rib eye steak with magic sauce and Yucca fries, grilled eggplant with sautéed eggplant, as well as grilled octopus with mango, cucumber, mint and scotch cream, and a sun-filled dessert similar to Guinness Punch ice cream.
Antillean’s Island Bar is the backbone of the town’s bar scene, serving a wide variety of iconic, basic and non-alcoholic cocktails to celebrate the bottles and flavors popular throughout the Caribbean, not to mention a liquor library featuring More than 100 different types of liquor rums.
