Hedge founder Larry Leeds, 93, married to Ginger Feuer
Never too old to fall in love.
Prominent hedge founder Larry Leeds, who was president of Buckingham Capital Management until 2019, died Sunday at the age of 93
Leeds and Dalia Leeds were married for 60 years and Feuer and Myron Feuer were married for 45 years, but their partners both died.
We were told that the four were close friends and were on holiday together.
Leeds and Feuer — who have known each other for 40 years — reunited at a widow’s party in Palm Beach, Florida, and had their first date in Sistina on New York’s Upper East Side.
Feuer told us that Leeds was the perfect gentleman, and he sent her back to her apartment and kissed her good night. “There was a spark,” he said.
They have been together for a year and a half. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Liz said when she proposed last October. She told Page Six that she liked “Feuer’s red hair, bubbly personality and sexiness.”
At the same time, Fair said he admired Leeds for his good looks and intelligence.
We’ve heard the couple will tie the knot in front of Rabbi Joshua Davidson of the Emanu-El Shrine, home to Feuer’s son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Feuer and Liz Toll Feuer.
Forty guests are expected, including Alan Patricof of Apax Partners, John Rosenwald of JP Morgan, art collectors Robbi and Bruce Toll, and Leeds’ daughters Ashley and Tracy.
Freuer is partnered with the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, the American Cancer Society and City Meals on Wheels.
Liz, the former CEO of Manhattan Industries, which founded the Perry Ellis fashion brand, is also involved in philanthropy and running the family foundation. He is currently focusing on the Cary Ritz Tennis and Learning Center in the Bronx, which he founded in honor of his late son.
The couple is also active in community circulation in Palm Beach and New York City.
We wish the newlyweds happiness in the world. Mazeltov!
