early life

On January 28, 1992, Farooqi was welcomed by Indian Muslim parents in Junagad, Gujarat state. When he was 16, his family moved to Mumbai after sectarian violence in Gujarat state in 2002 destroyed his home. His mother died shortly after the tragedy.

When his father fell ill, he had to work at 17 to support his family. While still in school, he worked in a store that sold kitchenware.

In his early twenties, he pursued a career in graphic design. In 2017, when numerous OTT platforms were launched in India, he became aware of humor and started working as a comedian. In the same year, he also started working as an actor.


In April 2020, he rose to the forefront of the entertainment industry by releasing a stand-up comedy video titled “Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat” on his channel. In August 2020, he released his first single “Jawab” with Indian singer Spectra.

On February 28, 2021, he posted a video titled “Ghost Stories” on his YouTube channel, which featured a stand-up comedy performance.
