Police Warn Of Traffic Jams Near New Auckland Mega Store

Police have warned motorists of “severe congestion” near Westgate, near the new Costco site that is now open.

The massive on-site retailer had long queues before Westgate’s doors opened this morning.

“Police would like to alert motorists to the serious congestion around Fred Taylor Drive and Gunton Drive in Westgate.

Unless you’re likely to be traveling the world in particular, motorists are advised to take a unique route to be successful at their resort. “

A woman who arrived at Costco at lunchtime and joined the queue said it took about 40 minutes to get to the store’s entrance.

The owner said she arrived at 12:19pm just to see that the queue had passed the top of the building.

At the end of last year, the chain had stores in 828 locations, including 572 in the United States.

Oakland Warehouse is a $100 million+ member retailer that spends $60/person or $55/business per year.

Costco’s closing annual report cited total online sales for the 52-week fiscal year ending in August 2021, which totaled $192 billion, up 18%. Internet revenue was $5b, up 25%. Membership fee revenue rose 9% to $3.9 billion.

It sources most of its merchandise immediately from producers, and its technology is to offer members a wide variety of high-quality merchandise at consistently lower costs than elsewhere.
