Raquel Lewis’ family seeks FBI protection after death threats
Raquel Lewis’ family has sought protection from the FBI after they threatened to kill her over her affair with Tom Sandoval.
levi’s representative Report to TMZ Her family has received “cruel and bloody” threats online and over the phone, promising to “dismember” the reality star.
Another caller is said to have threatened to “die and leave the body”.
Representatives for Levis did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
An FBI spokesman said he could neither confirm nor deny the investigation.
“Of course, we are investigating all allegations brought to our attention and encourage anyone who believes their life is in imminent danger to call 911,” the statement read.
The 28-year-old former beauty queen has been seeking mental health treatment at a long-term facility since April amid backlash over her romance with a co-star.
Lewis has not been active on social media since her confessional statement, but after starting her treatment, she claims her Instagram account was hacked.
In turn, her team decided to hijack the account and use it to highlight mental health causes.
While her rep said Levis “has asked that all posts focus on raising awareness for mental health organizations, advocacy and removing the stigma associated with treatment,” none have yet done so.
According to Page Six’s coverage of “Scandoval”:
Meanwhile, Sandoval was spotted flying out of Los Angeles ahead of the “Vanderpump Rules” convention earlier this week, with Scheana Shay claiming Sandoval told Levis he was in an “open relationship” with longtime partner Ariana Madix.
The 40-year-old would-be rocker vehemently denied Shay’s claims and called the accusation a “bull.”
“I didn’t fucking say that,” Sandoval shot back during the first part of the game, which aired Wednesday.
Sandoval and Leviss’ affair came to light on March 3, prompting Madix to fire Sandoval immediately.
She’s since moved on with new boyfriend Daniel Wai, while a source told Page Six that Sandoval and Leviss have parted ways.
