“There’s no more dramatic story than your personal life story, rising up in New Orleans, a poor and suffering father who you actually said would whip the flesh off your bones,” Wallace said. “And you just tried to kill yourself.”
Perry said he hadn’t spoken to his father in nearly 13 years. Still, he gave it to him financially. “I didn’t speak [my father] Probably 12 or 13 years from now,” Perry said. “I’ll deal with him though; he’ll be verified. every month. He lives in the house I bought. “

“The beauty of having a seven-year-old kid now is that I can speak to all the questions I couldn’t speak to when I was younger,” Perry said. “So I really think it helps heal a lot of wounds. Just letting him know he’s going to be fine.”
Perry said he’ll also tell his younger self that he’s going to try to be one of the best versions of himself and make different people live higher. “And he endured problems that he couldn’t manage,” Perry continued. “But as a person, I’ll pay the price, and I’ll try to be one of the best because of what he’s endured. I’ll probably inform him.”
