Why Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Have ‘Officially Done’ IVF
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have ditched IVF, leaving further family planning to fate.
“We’re officially done with IVF,” Kardashian, 44, shared Wednesday in a confession on the third season premiere of “The Kardashians.”
“We would most like to have a baby, but I really believe in what God has in store for us. If it’s a baby, I’m sure it will.”
The Poosh founder said she had frozen seven eggs when she started dating Buck, 47, but most of them “didn’t survive” and none “reached an embryo”.
“Egg freezing is not guaranteed,” she said.
“I think it’s a misunderstanding. People do it thinking it’s like a safety net, but it’s not.
Kardashian – who already has 13-year-old Mason, 10-year-old Penelope and 8-year-old Ryan with ex-partner Scott Disick – will try to have more children with drummer Blink-182 the natural way.
“Whatever it is,” she said, adding, “Having fun is the most important thing, being a good parent to your kids.”
Creator Lemme showcased her and Barker’s new approach to fertility in an episode in which she delayed meeting her sister, Khloé Kardashian, so the couple could try to have a baby.
“I know I’m late, but I’m ovulating,” she told her sister. “If you give us five minutes to do something really quick … we’ll be back.”
The Good American founder, 38, timed the couple’s meeting, which ended in 15 minutes, which Courtney called “record time.”
“I’m just getting used to life. My wife’s life is great,” said Courtney, who wed Buck in May 2022.
Courtney previously opened up about the difficulties of IVF in a trailer for the show that leaked in March. “It wasn’t the most amazing experience,” she said of the process, adding that IVF made her gain weight and put her “into menopause.”
But the mum-of-three has embraced her changing physique and proudly posted a bikini photo of her “IVF body” earlier this month.
She’s also delighted that her husband is confident about her “fatter body”.
“Travis said every day, ‘You’re perfect,'” she said on an episode of “The Kardashians” last October. “If I had a complaint, he’d say, ‘You’re perfect. You’re amazing…you’ve never been better.'”
She added that having a supportive partner who “always compliments” her helped her “embrace” and “love” the changes.
Due to the weight gain, Kourtney had to distance herself from internet trolls’ speculation about her pregnancy in December 2021.
One fan commented under her bikini photo: “Not that girl but…is that a pregnant belly?” Courtney replied: “Every time I post a pic, do we really have to do that?”
Courtney previously claimed she was “pushed” into IVF because of her age.

“If you even search on the internet about what you can do to get pregnant…it says, like, ‘If you’re over 40’ – or maybe even something younger – it says, ‘Go for it now , – Courtney told Dear Media Not Skinny Not Fat podcast. October 2022
“So I feel a little forced.”
The couple revealed they want to have a baby together in a trailer for the show released in March.
Meanwhile, she and Buck reunite the family. The musician has son Landon (19) and daughter Alabama (17) with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
He also helped raise Moakler’s 24-year-old daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, whom the former beauty queen shares with former Oscar De La Hoya.
